On December 30, 2019, the General Office of the Ministry of Education announced the list of 2019 national and provincial first-class undergraduate major construction sites, and Dalian Neusoft University of Information has a total of 9 majors selected. Among them, computer science and technology, software engineering, and digital media technology are the first national first-class undergraduate professional construction sites. In addition, network engineering, electronic information engineering, information management and information system, human resources management, animation, and English are the six construction sites of provincial first-class undergraduate majors. The number of the first batch of national and provincial first-class undergraduate professional construction sites ranks first among the country’s private universities.

The 9 majors of our university were selected into the first batch of national and provincial first-class undergraduate major construction sites, which is a full affirmation of our university’s professional construction and talent training quality. The 9 first-class majors cover 4 disciplines of engineering, management, arts and literature, covering more than 40% of the undergraduate students in our university, which highlights that the university has formed a sound discipline structure with engineering as the main discipline and engineering, management, arts and liberal arts supporting and developing in a coordinated way.
