On the afternoon of September 4th, a delegation of six members led by MaxLu, President of University of Surrey paid a visit to DNUI. Li Xue, VicePresident and CKO of the Neusof Education Technology Group, and Rong Yidan,Dean of the School of International Education attended the reception.

First of all, the distinguished guests and Mr. Li Xue, Vice President andCKO of the Neusoft Education Technology Group, held in-depth discussions inB5-202. Subsequently, guests and their colleagues came to the research hall ofNeusoft Education Technology Group Research Institute. Faculties from theSchool of Computer and Software, School of Intelligence and ElectronicEngineering, School of Digital Arts and Design, School of Health and MedicalTechnology, introduced the scientific research achievements of NeusoftEducation Technology Group Research Institute to the distinguished guests.
In the library, Rong Yitan, Dean of the School of International Education,introduced the development process and characteristics of the school, and ledthe guests to visit the reading room and IDC computer room. Subsequently, SunYan, a teacher from the Experiment and Practical Training Center, led theguests to visit the laboratories of microsystems, intelligent logistics storageand distribution, cloud computing and big data, virtual reality, interactivemedia, robots and so on. The guests were invited to have in-depth interactionswith the teachers and students in the experimental class. The distinguishedguests also visited the SOVO, and Ning Minghao from the School of Innovationand Entrepreneurship, introduced the operation mechanism of SOVO and theachievements of innovation and entrepreneurship education. Finally, the guestscame to the School of Digital Arts and Design to visit and experience thecreative arts practice works and interactive projects of our teachers andstudents. The distinguished guests fully affirmed and highly appraised theunique mode of running DNUI, and expressed their desire for cooperation betweenthe two sides.
