On June 22-23, the 15th “Bao Chuang Cup” National Undergraduate EmbeddedArtificial Intelligence Design Competition was held in Shenyang NormalUniversity. Our School of Computer and Software and the Experimental TrainingCenter jointly dispatched 5 teams and won 2 special prizes, 2 first prizes and2 second prizes.

The competition was screened in East China, Tianjin, North China, Shaanxi,Shandong, Northwest, Northeast, Southwest and the Comprehensive Division.Eventually 80 teams entered the national finals. The finals were held atBeijing University of Technology from July 12th to 14th. After the oraldefense, demonstration, and judging, the two teams of our university won thesecond and third prizes of the national competition.

The event was co-hosted by the Computer Science Professional TeachingSteering Committee of the Ministry of Education and the China ElectronicsSociety, and undertaken by the Embedded Systems and Robotics Branch of theChinese Institute of Electronics. The purpose of the competition is to deepenthe reform of the talent training mode and practical teaching of embedded andIoT systems in colleges and universities, and to improve the students' sense ofinnovation, hands-on ability and teamwork. Since 2005, the event has beensuccessfully held for 15 times and has won unanimous praise from universities.It is currently the largest and most influential event in the field.
