From August 19 to 21, 2019, the National Final of the 3rd National Undergraduate Integrated Circuit Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held in Nanjing. The School of Intelligent and Electronic Engineering of our university won the first prize of Arm Cup National Award, the third prize of China National Cup and the National Excellence Award of two cups. Our university won the “Excellent Organization Award” from the Organizing Committee of the Competition.

The competition is a professional competition for college students and postgraduates, which is actively responding to the national dual-innovation education strategy proposed by the country. It is the top competition in the field of integrated circuits in China. The event was hosted by the Talent Exchange Center of Industry and Information Technology Department, and co-organized by the Industry-University Integration Development Alliance of Model Microelectronics Institute, the IEEE China Representative Office, and the Beijing Institute of Electronics.

The competition was launched in December 2018, which has 9 corporate cups, more than 1,300 registration teams, more than 4,000 teachers and students, and more than 130 colleges and universities. After the selection of 7 major divisions in Northeast, Northwest, South China, Central China, Southwest China, East China and North China, 239 teams from more than 60 colleges and universities were selected to the national finals.
