On June 2, 2019, the Ninth National University Students ComputerApplication Ability and Information Literacy Competition was successfullyconcluded at the Capital University of Economics and Business. A total of 15 students from theSchool of Computer and Software, School of Digital Arts and Design, Higher VocationalCollege of Technology and School of Continuing Education participated in theComputer Basic Event and Office Business Application Competency. In the end,Han Long and Chen Hangong from the School of Computer and Software of DNUI wonthe national first prizes of the Computer Basic Competition(Undergraduate Group) and the Office Business Application Ability Competition (UndergraduateGroup) respectively. Lu Jiaxing, a student from the School of ContinuingEducation won the national first prize of the ComputerBasic Competition (Undergraduate Group). Luo Xin, a student from the HigherVocational College of Technology, won the national first prize of the Computer Basic Competition (Higher Vocational Group). Many other studentsfrom DNUI also won the national second prizes and third prizes (see theattachment for the winner list). Luo Wei, Wang Wensheng and Li Xiangkun, threeinstructing teachers from our school, won the Outstanding Instructor Awards.
The competition was hosted by the National Computer Basic EducationResearch Association of the National Higher Education Institute, the NationalComputer Education Research Association of the National Higher EducationInstitution, the Computer Science Professional Steering Committee of theIndustrial and Commercial Bank, and the China Railway Publishing House and theCentral University for Nationalities. More than 200 delegations and a total of15,000 students participated in the competition, and finally 146 delegations,901 candidates and 256 instructors entered into the finals.
