From May 29th to 30th, 2019, a delegation of 12, including Ms. WendyAlexander, Vice President of International Exchange at the University ofDundee, John Rowan, Vice President of Research, and others from the School ofScience and Engineering, R&D Center, Health Information Center, BusinessSchool and related departments visited Neusoft Education Technology Group andDalian Neusoft University of Information. On the afternoon of May 29, the two parties held a start-up meeting in theschool's conference room A9-217. President Wen Tao warmly welcomed the guestsand his delegation. He hoped that this visit would establish a sincere basisfor cooperation between the two sides and open up new milestones.

Rong Yidan, Dean of the School of International Education of DNUI,introduced the development of Neusoft Education for the guests. Facing thefuture, Neusoft education will focus on IT + health care technology andcultivate competitive brands. Focusing on the value creation for learners, DNUIshould build a win-win ecology of integration of industry, education andresearch, promote the reform of science and technology enabling education, andhelp build a learning society in an all-round way.

Wendy Alexander, Vice President of International Exchange at DundeeUniversity, said that her visit to Neusoft changed her perception of Chineseuniversities and had many surprises and gains. She said that there are manysimilarities in research and teaching between the two universities. She is veryoptimistic about the future development of Neusoft education and hopes that thetwo sides can have a more comprehensive cooperation plan.

Subsequently, accompanied by President Wen Tao and Vice President Li Xue,the guests visited the library and IDC center of our university, and visitedthe laboratories and experimental classes of school microsystems, intelligentlogistics warehousing and distribution, cloud computing and big data, virtualreality, interactive media, robots, etc. The visiting guests and on-siteteachers and students conducted an in-depth interactive exchange. The guestsalso visited SOVO, Digital Arts and Design College and the third phase ofstudent living area, and enjoyed interactive media and virtual simulationsystem of Blue Sea Ship. The guests fully affirmed and highly appraised thebeautiful and elegant campus environment and unique mode of education in DNUI.

On the morning of May 30, led by Li Xue, Vice President and CKO of NeusoftEducation Technology Group, researchers from various research directions,introduced the Research Institute of Neusoft Education Technology Group to VicePresident Wendy and her delegation. They visited the Big Data Laboratory ofIntelligence and Health, Medical Equipment and Image Processing Laboratory,Educational Science and Technology Laboratory, and Network and InformationSecurity Laboratory, to understand the latest research results of theInstitute. The two sides discussed the feasibility of cooperation in scientificresearch projects.
