On the morning of May 16, the colorful flags flew in the stadium of the Dalian Neusoft University of Information. The teachers and students of Dalian Neusoft University of Information gathered together to look forward to the grand convening of the 14th Sports Meeting.

At 7:50 in the morning, along with the impassioned "Athletes March", all the people stood and watched. The school’s National Flag Guards, the enthusiastic bunting team, the energetic bouquet team, the referee team and the teams of different schools walked through the rostrum in turn, and the sports meeting kicked off at this point. The innovative ideas and well-planned display of the college teams have made the audience excited with applause and cheers.

 

This year, the teachers and students of the School of Digital Arts and Design were ingenious. The original hand-painted “Times of the Box” theme float was themed with the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, and it is presented by elements that reflect China's rapid development, such as Tiananmen Square and high-speed rail. The float slowly unfolds. Cartoon characters of different ages, such as black cat sheriff, big head son and small head father, and the Chinese lion image originally created by students of the School of Digital Arts and Design Department, are displayed together with dances of different ages to present a present to the 70th birthday of the motherland. The COSPLAY show followed, drawing cheers from the audience. The foreign students of the Institute of International Education dressed in Han Chinese clothing, holding folding fans and flowing clothes, showed their love for Chinese traditional culture and sparked the audience. The foreign language school team is ingenious, wearing a magic hat, holding a staff, and leading everyone into the magical magic world in the "magic campus" of Neusoft Campus. A group of white pigeons flew across the sky, flying in the blue sky with the dream and hope of Neusoft students.

After the inspection ceremony, Wen Tao, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the university, and Director of the Sports Committee solemnly announced: "The 14th Games of Dalian Neusoft University of Information has officially opened!" Applause and salutes rang out. With the solemn "March of the Volunteers", the National Flag Guards raised the five-starred red flag. Guo Quan, Deputy Director of the Sports Committee and Vice President of the university, delivered an opening speech. 17003 Financial Management Class of the School of Information and Business Management Yin Mingda and Wang Hai of the Physical Education Department of the Basic Education School respectively took the oath as the athlete's representative and the referee's representative.

At the opening ceremony, the group gymnastics "Original Desire" brought by the basic education school shocked everybody at the opening ceremony. The 1080 Neusoft students jointly performed the Chinese Taiji. With the inspiring and passionate music, the team changed the "DNUI" and mixed teaching acronym "HHSJX", "2019", "The original desire is as before" and other patterns, paying tribute to the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 19th anniversary of the founding of the university. The Foreign Languages School Group Gymnastics "Youth Dream Catchers" uses "We are all Dream catchers" as the back music, which combines a variety of different characteristics of dance, reflecting the professional characteristics of English, Japanese and Russian, as well as the internationalization and diversity of the university, paying tribute to the 70th birthday of the motherland. At the closing ceremony, the Art Troupe of College Students brought the "Yibo Yuntian" group gymnastics. They blended Chinese classical elements and popular atmosphere, and displayed the youthful style of Neusoft students with dynamic dance.

On the competition field, the athletes struggled hard; the audience shouted hard; the referees were fair and just; and the volunteers quietly made contributions, showing a good style of courage and unity. In addition to the traditional track and field events, the sports meeting also set up interesting projects such as turning the tire relay and 60 meters in step and so on. The sports field has become the ocean of joy and youth.
