On March 4th, 2019, the first phase of the joint innovation center jointly established by Dalian Neusoft University of Information and Aizu University of Japan was officially launched.

The Joint Innovation Center jointly established by Dalian Neusoft University of Information and Aizu University of Japan was formally established on September 26th, 2018. The first phase of the project, with the theme of “shared cars”, aims to plan shared car services for university students in Aizu, Japan, and to increase the added value of products. The project lasts for one month. The project team consists of 3 students from Aizu University and 3 students from Department of Internet of Things of the School of Computer and Software in our school. During the project, Chinese and Japanese students investigated the development background of the shared cars, and designed and discussed the shared car service. Everyone showed great enthusiasm, worked together in a cross-cultural background, showed creative thinking, and finally formed a project plan, which laid the foundation for the continuous research and development of the project.

In the future, our students will have the opportunity to go to Aizu University in Japan to participate in the continuous research and development of the project and carry out specific system development work. Japan’s Alpine Company also paid great attention to the project and expressed its hope to establish cooperation and support students’ innovation and entrepreneurship from a business perspective.

Aizu University was founded in 1993 as a Japanese public university and the first research university in Japan to focus on computer science and technology. The school is one of the 37 “super-global universities” selected by the Japanese Ministry of Education, and only two public universities in Japan are selected. The number of students’ entrepreneurship ranks the first among public universities in Japan. In October 2010, our school established a friendly and cooperative relationship with Aizu University. The smooth progress of the first phase of the Joint Innovation Center marks the beginning of a new phase of cooperation between our university and Aizu University. At the same time, it provides a new platform for our school and provides new ways to cultivate international and high-level innovation and entrepreneurship talents.
