On the morning of March 30th, Spring Campus Career Fair for Graduates of 2019, hosted by Dalian Neusoft University of Information, co-organized by Human Resources Market of Shahekou District, Dalian was held in our gymnasium. Accenture, Hewlett-Packard, Ernst & Young, Alpine, Neusoft Group, Deli Group, Jiajiayue Group and other 268 companies came to the Neusoft campus to recruit talents.

With the gradual improvement of talents cultivation quality in our school, there were many newly joined recruiting companies on site. The recruitment staff from Jiajiayue Group said: “In such an information age, we need a large number of information professionals. At present, our company is in need of SAP product consultants, SAP development engineers, Java R&D engineers, Java front end or mobile terminal, etc. SAP courses of your university, which were recognized in the whole country, are unique, and they highly correspond in with our company’s needs. We can say that we come here to recruit because we admire your fame.”

Ms. Bai Jie, the Admissions and Employment Department of DNUI, said: “The number of national college graduates of 2019 will exceed 8 million this year. The overall employment situation is severe. However, our school’s majors are quite advantageous. In the information age, IT and information service have run through all walks of life, and the market demand is relatively large. At the same time, in order to help students get employed, we have carried out a series of preparatory work. For example, the school will carry out career planning training, related lectures, and business study for all students and conduct business customization classes for juniors to help students understand corporate culture and work processes. According to statistics, nearly 60% of the graduates of 2019 in our school have signed up or have been internships and prepared to sign up.”

Jiang Jiao, a student in the Department of Engineering Management at the School of Information and Business Management, said: “I signed a contract with Shanghai Accenture Software Systems Co., Ltd. in November 2018. Thanks to the application characteristics of the school, I participated in many companies’ and clubs’ activities in the university. These experiences have added a lot of highlights to my resume.”

In addition, Ms. Bai Jie suggested that students in school should make a career planning as soon as possible and seize employment opportunities. “Now many large enterprises are starting to recruit interns in the spring. For example, large enterprises such as Siemens, Huawei, and Midea have started recruiting for college graduates of 2020. Cisco has started recruitment planning for college graduates of 2020. In the middle of April this year, Tencent (Dalian Branch) will also begin to recruit students for 2020. Students should make their job planning as soon as possible to grasp the employment opportunities.”
