DNUI was presented on Nov. 27 with the title of 2018 Brand Non-governmental University at “Echoing China”, the annual educational gala sponsored by tencent.com in Beijing.

The Annual Work Conference of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Branch with China Association of Higher Education & the 9th National College Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Summit under the Division of Higher Education with the Ministry of Education was launched at China University of Mining and Technology from Dec. 5th to 7th, 2018.

The event recognized and commended the outstanding organizations, individuals and academic papers for their innovation and entrepreneurship efforts, including 30 universities and colleges with distinctive practices in innovation and entrepreneurship, 114 individuals with their achievements in college entrepreneurship education, 60 excellent papers, 31 micro lessons and MOOCs and 20 open classes in the form of video.

DNUI was awarded with the title of University with Distinctive Practice in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Teachers of the university claimed one 1st prize and one 3rd prize for paper, one 1st prize and two 2nd prizes for micro lesson and MOOCs. Sun Jing and Luan Xiaoyan were invited to present their works.
