Song Weibao, Vice President from Northwest University of Technology and other 17 people visited DNUI on Dec. 1. The guests were received by Wen Tao, President of the university.

Despite the severe cold weather, the visitors showed great enthusiasm to be shown around. Accompanied by Wen Tao, they learned about the history and characteristics of DNUI presented by Zhang Wan, Director of the President’s Office at the university library. Afterwards, they were shown around the Central Reading Room and the IDC. Zou Xiang, Director of the Information and Network Centre, and Lei Tao, head of Network Operations, dwelt on the running and maintenance of IDC.

The second stop was SOVO. Ms. Hu Fangyu introduced the operations of SOVO and the innovation and entrepreneurship programs of DNUI. The visitors appreciated the achievements of the innovation and entrepreneurship education of DNUI.

At the School of Digital Arts and Design, President Yu Qingjun, presented the operations of the school. The 12th Golden Autumn Cultural Arts Festival & Practical Training Exhibition was also presented to the guests by teachers from the same school. The guests thought highly of the hands-on ability and practical ability of the DNUI students.

Fu Chongguo, Curator of the university library, Party Secretary of the School of Digital Arts and Design and Dong Wenliang, Vice President of the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship were also on the party of reception.
