The Forum of Principals from Outstanding High Schools & 2018 Summit of High School- University Docking sponsored by University Express Online was held at DNUI as a base of higher education on November 16. Ren Hao, Vice CPC secretary of DNUI, and Shao Long, chairman and editor-in-chief of College Express Online, were present. More than 160 school leaders from all over the country gathered at the event to discuss the implications of the 2018 college entrance examination under new guidelines.

Mr. Ren extended warm welcome to the guests in his opening remarks. He introduced the history of the university, its orientation, ideology, the training mode of TOPCARES, its innovation and entrepreneurship programs and its achievements. He also outlined the enrolment of the university in 2018. Since Liaoning province will adopt a new system of people selection and college enrolment in 2021, he hoped that the guests from high school present would conduct in-depth dialogues to explore the new hopes, opportunities and challenges in the new framework of college entrance examination.

Shao Long, chairman and editor-in-chief of University Express Online, introduced the campaign the online platform conducted nationwide to help high school students to enter the universities they dreamed of. He called on the educational institutions to partake and cooperate in an effort to aid the reform of college entrance examination and benefit the growth of students.

The summit also featured the presentation of four guidance products for college entrance examination to the signed high schools, the appointment of teachers for the Research Institute of University Express Online, the commendation of the most popular high schools and universities as well as the entitling of DNUI as a destination for outstanding high school graduates. Party Secretary Ren Hao awarded the most popular high schools and Si Yan, Head of the Admissions and Employment Department awarded the excellent bases of prospective students for DNUI. Song Xiaoliang, the Deputy Head, was presented with the title of 2017-2018 Most Popular University on behalf of DNUI.

Hu FuQing, Deputy Dean of the Research Institute of University Express Online and supervisor of national educational assessment, Cheng Ya, Dean of the Research Institute of University Express Online, Zhang Wei, Vice General Manager of University Express Online, Li Fang, Senior Research Fellow of the Research Institute of University Express Online, Zhang Baishuai, Senior Teaching Fellow of Zhangmen Research Institute, Deng Yu, research fellow of college entrance examination reform of Shandong and dean of the Admissions Office of Qilu University of Technology and other experts also delivered speeches.
