On the afternoon of October 29, 2018, the Alps Scholarship Award Ceremony of Dalian Neusoft University of Information was held in the conference room A2-330. Imai Masashi, General Manager of China Alps Electronics Co., Ltd., Yamazaki Teruyoshi, General Manager of Dalian Alps Electronics Co., Ltd., Yamazawa Hideki, General Manager of Dalian Alpine Electronics Co., Ltd., and Kawaguchi Yoshihiro, Manager of Dalian Taida Alps Logistics Co., Ltd., presented award certificates on behalf of the Alps Group to 20 Neusoft students who won the scholarships. Ren Hao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of DNUI, attended the award ceremony.

At the ceremony, the leaders of the Alps Group shared their valuable career and life experience, and encouraged the students to strive hard, innovate bravely and cherish the beauty of university life.

Deputy Party Secretary Ren Hao made a speech at the ceremony. He reviewed the gratifying changes in DNUI over the past year, thanked the Alps Group for its perennial support and congratulated the award-winning students. He pointed out that scholarship is not only a material reward, but also a spiritual incentive. He hoped that students would turn the encouragement and love gained along the way into motivation to accompany their future growth, and more importantly, to pass this encouragement and love on to more people and give back to society.

In addition to the 20 students who won the award, 26 excellent students were selected from different schools of the university to attend the ceremony and share the joy of the awarded students. During the on-site questioning session, students spoke enthusiastically and had face-to-face exchanges with the senior leaders of the Alps Group.

After the award ceremony, a thank-you banquet was held in the leisure hall on the fifth floor of the library. Neusoft students gathered with senior executives and school teachers, and exchanged freely. The atmosphere was very warm. It is worth mentioning that interns from the Japanese Teaching Practice Base of the College of International Education, in collaboration with the College of International Education, have planned and implemented this activity. They also serve as translators for Japanese leaders of the Alps Group, which demonstrates the excellent professional skills and foreign affairs reception accomplishments of Japanese major students in DNUI. At the same time, interns have further improved their intercultural communicative competence and application ability through this practical opportunity.
