The 13th NationalUndergraduate "NXP Cup" Smart Car Competition (Northeast DivisionCompetition) was held at the Center Gymnasium of Changchun University ofScience and Technology from July 15th to 17th, 2018. A total of six teamsconsisting of 19 students and 12 instructors from the School of Intelligent andElectronic Engineering participated in the competition. After three days offierce competition, DNUI students won a first prize, three second prizes and athird prize. The team Neusoft X, which won the first prize, was ranked 5th inthe Northeast Division competition and 2nd in Liaoning Province.

The NationalUndergraduate "NXP" Cup Smart Car Competition is a science andtechnology competition in the Ministry of Education's National Teaching Qualityand Teaching Reform Project. It is a comprehensive competition, which coversmany disciplines such as control, pattern recognition, sensing technology,electronics, electrical, computer, machinery, etc.
