Professor OkuyamaYuichi from University of Aizu gave a series of lectures to DNUI students andteachers, invited by the School of Computer Science and Software Engineeringand the Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges.
In his five lectures,Prof. Yuichi introduced the Internet of Things (IOT) technology in Aizu and itsdevelopment in the sector based on his own research and experience for thereference of the research of DNUI.
Professor Yuichi hasa 7-day trip in Dalian. First, Mr. Yuichi lectured on the history of Universityof Aizu (UA) and the status quo of the IOT technology in his region. He alsogave suggestions on FPGA, how to set up programming environment and how tothink in programming. Sharing his own examples and experiences, the professorsuggested that teachers should provide excellent instruments and clear-cutgoals to make the latter do more on their own.
