On theafternoon of May 4th, the closing ceremony of the 13th "Sun Sports, Youand Me" Sports Month as well as the Cheerleading Contest was held inStudents Activity Center. Lasting for one month, this event of Sports Month washosted by DNUI Youth League Committee, and was co-organized by the Student Unionof DNUI and of all departments, as well as sports competition associations.

TheCheerleading Contest Final, with festive atmosphere on the scene, was the lastevent of the Sports Month. Li Nan, Secretary of DNUI Youth League Committee,Wang Xiujuan from DNUI Youth League Committee, Wang Binggang from the UndergraduateAffairs Office, Wang Zhiwei, a coach of the “Ten Years Plus” fitness club inStudents Activity Center, secretaries of the Youth League Committee from eachdepartment and secondary department as well as teachers were presented.

The first partwas a one-minute team presentation by each department. The players danced ingraceful movements, igniting the stage with enthusiasm. Each team came on thestage in turn after the warm-up session. The players unfolded before our eyesan unprecedented visual feast: dancing to dynamic music, combining motion withsoftness, and showing the vitality of DNUIers. The applause from the audience wenton and on. During the breaks of the competition, there were wonderfulperformances by College Students Art Troupes, DNUI Student Union and otherassociations.

After fiercecompetition, Department of Information Management eventually won the firstprize. Department of Japanese and Department of Digital Arts received thesecond prize. And the third prize was awarded to Department of Business Management,Department of Electronic Engineering, and Department of Computer Science andTechnology.
