Ivan Kamara, Consul of US Consulate General in Shenyang paid a visit to DNUI on the morning of November 1st. Rong Yidan, Deputy Director of the General Office of the President received the guests and Chen Weiming profiled the university, its history and characteristics of education. After that, the guests were shown around the Central Reading Room of the university library and the IDC center. In the hall of the library, the consul had an in-depth exchange with the Rong Yidan on DNUI’s modes of management and instruction. In SOVO (Student Office & Venture Office), the visitors were briefed on the general information of the function and part of the ongoing businesses of the real operations by Ning Minghao from the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and exchanged with other teachers. The guests gave affirmative evaluation on SOVO’s practice of fostering the students’ practical and innovative competencies.
