The Alpine Scholarship Award Ceremony of 2017 Held in Our School

On the afternoon of October 25th, the 2017 Alpine Scholarship Award was held in the A2-330 conference room. 20 students obtaining scholarships were awarded the certificate by Mr. Imai Masashi, General Manager of Alps (China) Co. Ltd., Mr. Yamazaki Hikarura, General Manager of Dalian Yamazaki Alps Electronics Co. Mr. Yamazawa Hideki, General Manager of Dalian ALPINE Electronics Co. Ltd., and Mr. Kawaguchi Yoshihiro, Manager of Dalian Alps TEDA Logistics Limited Company on behalf of the Alps Group. Ren Hao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of our university and Yang Lu, President of the School of International Education, attended the ceremony.

This year's awards ceremony has been more innovative than before. In addition to the 20 winners, another 25 outstanding student representatives from each department participated in the award ceremony and communicated with the senior leaders of the Alps group. At the ceremony, leaders from the Alps group shared their experience in the workplace and their life experience, encouraging our students to cherish the good university life and strive for progress with determination. Ren Hao, Deputy Secretary, congratulated the award winners. He suggested that it was a long-term responsibility and common pursuit for schools and enterprises to jointly support young people to create the bright future. Scholarship is not only a material reward, but also a spiritual incentive. It’s our hope that all students can remember the school’s motto, consolidate achievements and make persistent efforts to create more values for the society in the pursuit of knowledge and on the path to the future.

After the ceremony, the two sides held a buffet exchange in Idea Space of the fifth floor in the Library. Neusoft students communicated freely with the executives and teachers.

In addition, the interns in the Japanese-teaching practice base of the Institute of International Education participated in the planning and implementation of the activities in the guidance of teachers from the School of International Education, and acted as translators to help the Japanese leaders from Alps group with the communication, showing their excellent translation skills and literacy of reception as Japanese majors.

The Japanese Alps group is a global enterprise group consists of the Alps electrical, Alpine logistics, Alpine three enterprises, which serve as the core pillar. So far, in China it has owned more than 20 production and distribution outlets, and established a complete production and marketing network. Dalian Neusoft Institute of Information and the Japanese Alpine Group signed the first 5-year scholarship agreement on November 6th in 2002. In the past 16 years (including 2017), 320 students from Neusoft Institute of Information have received scholarships, with a total amount of 2 million 560 thousand RMB.
