Release time:2017-11-01

At noon of October 27th, in front of the intersection near the school’s eastern gate, many students lined up to participate in the activities related to our school’s 2nd Mathematical Cultural Festival. Mathematical and cultural knowledge which used to be boring and difficult in the past became interesting with mathematics twisters, Sudoku games, math quiz, heat conduction quest, creating a lava lamp, and etc.

There were more than 10 booths on the scene. The organizers patiently explained the theories and experiments to the students, attracting many students to participate. The teacher for the heat conduction experiment introduced to the students on the spot, "physics game experiments are basic experiments designed to improve students' interest in foreign countries. It originates from life." He continued, "Physics is a beautiful and great process, growing through errors and trials, such as the beautiful rainbow refraction known by all and Galileo who subverted the world's perception with gravitational experiments. The ordinary part of physics is as great as an integral part of our life." The passionate collision between mathematics and physics also makes every student participating in them have an exclamation, "The original little game makes a big difference" and "Outdoor experiment can be as interesting as the game".

Liu Yongning, President of Mathematics Club said, "This mathematical cultural festival is based on our school’s educational and teaching reform concept of OBE as the starting point, and stimulates everyone's interest in learning and enthusiasm about learning through interesting activities, with the hope that next year's activities can attract more people involved in."
