Aiming at cultivating talents of innovative practice, closely incorporating the state strategy of striving to develop the service of software outsourcing, catering to the society’s great demand for Japanese talent in applied business and to the workplaces’ keen need for Japanese talent in BPO and ITO, Japanese Department, based on our university’s educational concept of TOPCARES-CDIO and the reform policy of OBE, cooperated with  Genpact (Dalian) Company Limited to build a practice base and school education practice base, to customize courses with the characteristics of integrated industry-school-teaching. The 22 students who participated in this course all signed internship agreement with Genpact, entering the company as interns.  

In 2008 started the cooperation between the Japanese Department of Dalian Neusoft Institute of Information and Genpact (Dalian) Company Limited. Since then the Japanese Department has cultivated more than 100 students for this company. In August 2017 the Japanese Department co-founded customized Japan-orientated BPO courses with the human resources department and training department of Genpact (Dalian) Co. Ltd. in Neusoft during the practical semester. The course was operated in the unified management of both sides, and the candidates in customized courses could be directly offered positions in the company.

Students who participated in this training generally believed that their application ability of their Japanese professional knowledge and practical business ability had been greatly improved through this course. Zeng Yuping of Class 14006 in Japanese Department said, "The customized training program enables me to enhance in four aspects, including basic knowledge, business knowledge, Office skills, and Japanese occupation quality. It also deepens my understanding of Genpact, and accelerates my role transformation from a student to a social person. Every day during our internship, we have made great efforts to apply the knowledge and skills learned in the customized training project into practice."

The GTA project of Neusoft and Genpact applied for College Students' Off-campus Practice & Education Base (Construction Project), and was approved as a school-level project. In the future, the Japanese Department will also cooperate with other world's top 500 enterprises such as Yida, Wistron and Nomura and encourage teachers of Japanese Department to accept the enterprise training, or enter the enterprise for practice. At the same time, they will invite professional trainers to the department to conduct or participate in the implementation and construction of relevant practice courses, and incorporate more experienced enterprise trainers into the pool of honorary enterprise lecturers in Japanese Department.
