On the afternoon of Sep. 22, “Dream•Launch”—Dalian Neusoft University of Information 2017 Welcoming Party was held on the campus of The Third Phase Dormitory as planned. Wen Tao, Party Secretary and President of DNUI, Guo Quan, Vice President and Ren Hao, Vice Party Secretary attended the party to enjoy the programs and share the youth dreams with 2017 freshmen.

The party was divided into three parts which are “Dream of College”, “Grateful for Independence”, and “Grow and Fly”. The party opened with a magnificent Prosperity Carol. The programs included many kinds such as dances, poetry recital, songs, and cosplays. This year, what was worth mentioning is that many programs are created by Neusoft students themselves. Songs like “Neusoft version Boundless Sea and Sky” and “Neusoft Has Hip-hop”, and the poetry recital “First Lesson” condensed the Neusoft students’ love to their alma mater. The drama “Flying Tigers”, which was created by the College Drama Club was based on the familiar military training and demonstrated the military spirit. Students’ wonderful performances won the warm applauses from the audience.

Familiar animated characters also came to the party scene. Unlike in previous years, this year's Cosplay show was a powerful lineup. 90 students from ACG animation club and Digital Arts Department made their own clothes and brought a wonderful show. Scene cheers and applauses were heard all the time.

Many foreign students joined the show as well. The dynamic "Together" was performed by Chinese and foreign students from the Japanese Department, English Department, and Russian Department, which provided the audiences an exotic and youthful vitality performance of songs and dances and won a lot of cheers.

As a continuation of tradition, the documentary videos "Grateful for Parents’ Love” and “Military Training” which were created by teachers and students of Youth League Committee and the Point Stone studio, were once again put on at the stage, and they once again conquered the audience. Parents’ eager hopes and tears for departure on the first day made many freshmen burst into tears. And the impressive military training scenes once again lighted the enthusiasm of the students. Many students expressed their yearning for parents and their memory of military training through the WeChat interaction.

At the party scene, the naive walrus show from the Sun Asia Ocean World, the dynamic and vigorous song "Awesome Youth", "Flying Eagle", "Begin from Me", the handsome and dynamic hip-hop “Dancer Era", the touching song “Where is the Time", the ethnic "Folk Style", the "Mid-summer Light Year Colorful Community"... One after another wonderful programs pushed the party to one and another climaxes.

The party closed in the chorus of "Ode to the Motherland" and the school anthem "Dream on the Road". Loud and clear singing echoed in the sky above the third phase stadium. Too many moments were deeply engraved in Neusoft teachers and students’ mind, new, shaking, cool, profound, laughing, and moving. All will become eternal and unique memory of the heart. The wonderful party dedicated to the 2017 freshmen symbolizes the blessing to the new force of Neusoft. They will spend the best of their youth on the campus of the big Neusoft. In the future, there are still more ideas and dreams that will take roots and sprout here.
