The Military Training Parade and Commendation Ceremony of Freshmen of Grade 2017 was Held

At 9 o'clock of September 8th, the military training parade and commendation ceremony of freshmen of 2017 is held at DNUI's stadium. The ceremony started accompanied by the solemn national anthem. Suffering many hardships, the freshmen of Grade 2017 were quite bright and brave. The slogans "Hail to the Chief" and "Serve the people" were so loud and clear. All square formations walked with solid parade steps and resounding slogans so as to receive review from heads of military troops and the school.

Some advanced collectives and individuals were commended at the congress. Heads of the school and military troops gave awards to outstanding students, assistant tutors, assistant instructors, instructors and quality teachers in the whole military training process.

Wu Jinyi who majored in Japanese delivered a speech on behalf of students. He said that “the military training made us know what the unforgettable was, what the unity was and what courage was and the meaning of struggle and the meaning of being grateful. It was a whole new challenge in our lives and also a perfect first lesson in university life, which would become our most unforgettable memories here."

Being a solider for a day would benefit our whole life. Through 10 days' military training, the freshmen of Grade 2017 completed their first lesson in DNUI with outstanding performance. They learnt the concept of strict discipline, the awareness of team work, fighting spirits, perseverance and healthy and civilized living habits from their military training instructors, which would become their spiritual treasure in university.
