At the stadium of Dalian Neusoft University of Information, a gray castle was moving slowly. Upon the moment when the gate opened, a manned intelligent electric car rushed out of the wall, speeding on the track, which drew constant cheers from the teachers and students present.

This is the wonderful scene that took place at the opening ceremony of the 12th Sport Games of Dalian Neusoft University of Information.

The high-spirited and vigorous formation from different departments, the magnificent and multifarious group calisthenics performance, the dignified guards escort, the enthusiastic audience, the meticulous referees, the busy uninterrupted volunteers, the athletes who went beyond themselves, and the manned intelligent electric car, the “Four Classics”, “Swan Lake”……The stadium of Dalian Neusoft University of Information was filled with so many highlights that made everyone there dizzying.

The manned intelligent electric car is independently developed by students from the Department of Electronic Engineering of Dalian Neusoft University of Information, which embodies the combination of intelligent control and modern manufacturing applications. Shen Hua, Dean of the Department of Electronic Engineering, expressed: “All the cars, from the modified electro-mobile which is the first one leading the marching team to the ultra-remote control car based on the Dajiang platform, are all manned electric vehicles independently designed, researched and developed by graduating students for their graduation projects. What the graduating students have done not only fully shows their concept of changing life by technology, but also reflects their ability enhancement and transformation in practice and innovation.”

In succession to the innovative characters “Avatar” and “Cinderella” in the previous years, the characters like Monkey King, Lin Daiyu, Wu Song and Zhuge Liang from the Chinese Four Classics were designed with innovative ideas by the students from the Department of Digital Arts. The Chinese Classics were interpreted in the form of cosplaying these characters. What’s more, the lifelike characters are very eye-catching. “Swan Lake”, the ballet dance show, from the Russian Department showed the pulse of youth. The combination of Chinese and Western culture and the novel and unique creativity attracted wide public attention.

On the playground, the magnificent group calisthenics performance set off a climax. The show, which was practiced by more than one thousand students, integrated traditional Chinese cultural elements of Tai Chi into vibrant modern dance. All the audience feasted their eyes on such a wonderful show. Each show is the crystallization of creativity and sweat of teachers and students of Dalian Neusoft University of Information. The formation of the show is multifarious and complex in transformation, which gives audience surprise.

There are so many highlights in the Sport Meeting of Dalian Neusoft University of Information. The Games is not only a challenge for competition, but also a show for high spirit and morale.
