The First “Ancient Rhyme of DNUI” Traditional Culture Carnival was Held

China is the country of etiquette for thousands of years as well as the traditional culture with a long history.

On May 30th, the Dragon Boat Festival, antique flavor was on display in the student square. 

Hosted by Administrivia News and assisted by the library of DNUI, Yunci Hanfu association, the Mingde traditional culture association, Enjoy Reading Club, Student Union of Youth League Committee, Neusoft Radio, College Students Speech and Eloquent Association and College Students’ Art Group, the First “Ancient Rhyme of DNUI” Traditional Culture Carnival officially started.

The traditional culture carnival activities included eight parts, namely, tea ceremony, calligraphy, chess, paper cutting, guessing lantern riddles, making rice dumplings, wishing trees, Hanfu experience. During the process, the students were involved enthusiastically in their favorite activities, whether they tried the art of calligraphy or experienced the beautiful Hanfu, or made rice dumplings personally, or hung their wishes on the wishing trees ... The students had a better understanding of the our traditional cultures and customs when they were having fun.

Zhang Xinhang, the organizer of the event, said: "We hope that we can learn more about our traditional culture through the traditional cultural carnival activities and make efforts to inherit these historical essence.”
