It was the second week of practical semester for students to practice the business Japanese comprehensive training project. On August 21, 25 Japanese students and 3 teachers from Nagoya University, Kyoto University of Industry and other 7 partner universities in Japan were warmly welcomed to study respectively in the foreign affairs reception class, translation class and tourist class. In the third week, 14 Japanese students from 5 other partner universities will also be welcomed. The students of our university will experience an unusual practical semester with Japanese students.

The students from Japanese Department designed a series of activities such as campus guide, city tour and translation for daily life and all that. 27 Chinese students take one-to-one responsibility for Japanese students’ daily routines and activities. In their spare time, Chinese students were the guides, co-traveling to such Dalian scenic spots as Xinghai Square, East Port, Russian Street; making dumplings, drinking tea and watching Beijing opera; also co-organizing and designing cultural exchange activities to understand each other and learn with each other.

The combination of Japanese short-term overseas study and the classes in the practical semester makes the Japanese students experience Chinese students’ practical classes; likewise, the Chinese students walked into Japanese overseas life as to have a better mutual understanding and promote friendship.
