The 21st Japanese Rugby Robot Contest was held successfully in Tsuyama, Japan, from 16 to 18 of December, 2016. Twenty-five teams from different countries such as Japan, China, Singapore and Thailand participated this contest. A student from Electronic Engineering Department represented DNUI to participate the contest for the first time and won the international silver award.

The Japanese Rugby Robot Contest is an international robot contest held by Tsuyama government and Tsuyama National College of Technology. The topic for the contest varies from year to year and this year’s topic is Rugby Robot. The contest has been held for twenty-one times successfully.
