On June 16th, the university-enterprise cooperation featuring excellent IT engineer talent cultivation was held in World Expo Square. This forum is aimed at integrating resources among industries, enterprises and universities and promoting industry-education integration so as to establish a dialogue platform between universities and enterprises and strengthen talent cultivation. More than 350 heads from Computer Science and Engineering Department of over 100 universities attended this meeting. Over 30 well-known IT enterprises also joined this fair including Cisco, HP, Oracle, Baidu, Aliyun, Neusoft, Huasan, Ruijie and Hi-Think. In the speech, President Wen Tao analyzed the background of cultivating outstanding IT engineer talents from the perspective of IT talent cultivation and pointed out that industry-education integration and university-enterprise cooperation are effective methods to improve the quality of talent cultivation and bridge the gap between talent cultivation of universities and talent demands of industries and enterprises. Meanwhile, with the technologies and models of internet + education becoming more mature, education is supposed to provide learners with higher-quality education services.
