From May 27th to 29th, the finalcompetition of“Entrepreneurship Youth” College Students’ EntrepreneurshipCompetition of Liaoning Province was successfully held in Start Maker Space inShenyang. Students of our university got the best accomplishment in history of 3gold, 4 silver and 8 bronze medals. All the three gold-medal-winner teams willparticipate in the national competition.

“Entrepreneurship Youth” China CollegeStudents’ Entrepreneurship Competition is a nationwide entrepreneurship competitionwith orientation, demonstration and mass participation hosted by the CentralCommission of China Communist Youth League. It is divided into three majorcompetitions, namely, “Challenge Cup” National Undergraduate EntrepreneurshipPlanning Competition, Entrepreneurship Practice Challenge and Pubic Welfare EntrepreneurshipCompetition. The competition is a selection system at three levels: nationallevel, provincial level and college level. From the implementation of thiscompetition this March, there were altogether 1981 pieces of works from 67colleges. Through qualification review, provincial preliminary evaluation andre-evaluation, 297 pieces of works were selected to participate in theprovincial final competition, of which 135 pieces of works won the gold medals,162 won the silver medals, and 54 pieces of works would participate in thenational competition.

In this provincial competition, our universityemphasized on cultivating the innovation and entrepreneurship abilities of thecollege students, and though all-round guidance for the participating teams,finally selected 20 teams to participate in the competition, of which 15 teamswon the prizes. Through the selection in the provincial competition, 29 pieces ofworks out of the gold medal winners in the entrepreneurship planningcompetition will participate in the national competition, among which 3 piecesof works were from our university, which was the best accomplishment in historyfor our university in this provincial competition.
