Recently,the second batch of the listed maker spaces were announced by the Torch Center.The SOVO (Students Office and Venture Office) of Dalian Neusoft University ofInformation passed the evaluation of the Torch Center of Ministry of Scienceand Technology, and becomes the first national maker space of the incubatormanagement and service system of science and technology businesses in LiaoningProvince.

Accordingto the specific requirements of maker space of Torch Center, the SOVO of DalianNeusoft University of Information stood out among hundreds of competitors afterits systematic pre-trial material preparation, reporting and the initialexamination of administration departments of science and technology in Dalian. Afterentering into the review round, it eventually passed the examination and waslisted successfully in the Torch Center. It was also incorporated into the nationalmaker space of the incubator management and service system of science andtechnology businesses.

By now, there are altogether 362 maker space listed inthe Torch Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology. After thesuccessful listing, the SOVO of DNUI will get the chance to enjoy a series of preferentialpolicies offered by relevant departments, which will provide students withbetter support and services in innovation and entrepreneurship.
