Jointly organized by the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Commerce andWuxi Municipal Government, the Sixth Chinese College Students OutsourcingInnovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was concluded on August 30 in Wuxiof Jiangsu Province, which lasted more than five months. Altogether 889 teamsfrom 309 universities, such as
Tsinghua University, ShanghaiJiaotong University, Taiwan Zhongshan University, Chung-Ang University of SouthKorea, and Indian NIIT University took part in the competition.

The representative team’s work"Novelty Creation", instructed by Mr. Ren Changning, a teacher fromthe Department of Software Engineering of DUNI, won the first prize after aseries evaluation including quality assessment, materials review, the telephonerespondent, and the final on-spot respondent.
The projects for businesspractice and venture are the most worthwhile and welcomed ones in thecompetition. The first prize winner can be directly assigned to station in"China (Wuxi) Students Outsourcing Innovation Base", who can alsoreceive up to 300,000 yuan of funds to support their business to get started,enjoy the office space and apartments for free, and enjoy “one-stop” servicefor business tax registration, investment and financing.

The representative team’s work "Career Resource SharingPlatform", instructed by Wang Hongyan, a teacher from Department ofSoftware Engineering, won the third place in the free proposition class(English group). The representative team’s work "College Mobile InternetPlatform", instructed by Song Xilian, a teacher from the Department ofInformation Management, won the third place in the free proposition class(Chinese group).
