At the beginning of April, Mr. Saktoyev, President of East-Siberian State University of Technology paid a visit to our institute. President, Party Secretary of Dalian NII, Professor Wen Tao; Deputy President, Cao Yunfeng received the delegation. The bilateral parties exchanged the opinions on future cooperation, teaching plan’s combination, short-term Chinese training and exchanging students. They held the magnificent cooperation, signing ceremony on April 8th. During their visit, the delegation thought highly of our institute from the infrastructures and facilities, running models and conceptions, and the faculty’s quality. The Russian East-Siberian State University of Technology was founded in 1962, located in city of Ulan-Ude, Republic of Buryatia, Russia. It is one of key universities in Russia. They have 82 majors to cultivate special intellectuals for the foreign cooperative partners through the work of many professors, associate professors and teachers. The university is equipped well having 10 teaching buildings, culture center, gym, stadium and several attached colleges. The university developed the foreign cooperation rapidly, now they have the international students from Canada, Mongolia, Republic of Korea and European countries. Oct. 2006, the two parties knew each other at Sino-Russia University Presidents Conference. Through two years of mutual efforts, the two schools are finally cooperating for a promising future. The two parties were cooperating on a “2.5+2.5” selecting and sending Russian students plan on diploma education and graduates Mandarin practicing.
