Release time:2015-12-15
In order to better meet the needs of the teachers and students in our institute, with the hard efforts from the leadership of the institute’s Library Resources Management Committee and the members in each department’s Book Committee, the library has successfully accomplished the task of selecting and purchasing more than 150,000 books by the end of 2007. The library reconstructed and added to the social science stacks, and finished the installation of 200 newly-purchased book shelves.
Before the holidays, working overtime, the teacher librarians completed checking and acceptance of over 150,000 books, and spent winter vacation time in putting all the books onto the shelves and classifying them.
At present, all the books have been in place for the teachers and students to borrow. New books announcement is going to be available from the library website, which will serve teachers’ needs of using books.
