Alps Scholarship Presentation Ceremony solemnly held in Neusoft II

On October 12, the ceremony of Alps Group Scholarship Presentation Ceremony was held in Lecture Hall A2-309. Present at the ceremony were General Manager of Alps (China) Co., Ltd. Shozo Shirai; Dr Liu Jiren, Board Chairman and CEO of Neusoft Group; General Manager of Dalian Alps Co., Ltd., Hiroshi Fukiyama; General Manager of Dalian Alps electronic Co., Ltd., Yoji Kawarada; General Manager of Dalian Alps Logistics Co., Ltd., Hiroshi Yoshino; Head of General Department of Dalian Alps Electronic Co., Ltd., Mr. Yuan Ting; Ms. Ma Linyue, Planning Section Chief of Dalian Alps Electronic Co., Ltd.; Mr. Cao Yunfeng, Deputy President of Neusoft II and Mr. Ren Hao, Vice Secretary of the Party Committee of Neusoft II. Mr. Ren Hao presided over the ceremony. At the Awards Presentation Ceremony, Mr. Shozo Shirai and Dr. Liu Jiren presented prizes to 20 excellent students of NII and gave a speech respectively. Mr. Shozo Shirai made a brief introduction to ALPS Group and the background of setting up ALPS Scholarship. To encourage the excellent students to graduate with honor and support IT industry in China, ALPS Scholarship was founded in NII starting from the year of 2002, which is also the first enterprise to set up a scholarship there. During the visit of Dalian at that time, he was also surprised and impressed on the development of new Neusoft Park on South Road of Lvshun. He visited the beautiful NII campus and was deeply touched and he wished the friendship of ALPS and NII would last forever.  Dr. Liu Jiren extended his warm welcomed to the guests from ALPS on behalf of all the faculty and students of NII and sincerely congratulated all the students who had received ALPS Scholarships. As Mr. Liu Jiren pointed out, 2008 is the first year of the second Five-ear Cooperation Agreement between ALPS Group and NII, which has great significance on cooperation of both sides and he also hope to enjoy further cooperation between ALPS and NII and hope the students will make persistent efforts, work hard, make greater achievements and live up to the concern and expectation of the ALPS Group, leaders and teachers of the school.  On behalf of the 20 scholarship winners, Jiang Xingchen presented a speech. Jiang expressed thanks to the support of ALPS and care from the leaders and teachers of NII, and determined to guard against arrogance, make more progress in his later study. The award presentation ceremony was held in a warm atmosphere and concluded successfully with warm applause. Cooperation between ALPS and NII keep an all-around cooperation relationship. As the first company to establish scholarship in NII, ALPS, dated back to 2002, had encouraged the NII students to forging ahead and making persistent innovations by setting up scholarships in NII. A new agreement was signed last year to provide ¥800,000 for the coming five years. Moreover, sodalities between ALPS new staff and NII students and NII students’ intern in Japan build a continual link between the two parties and also provide a platform for NII students to know the Japanese corporate culture, broaden their horizon, and enhance practical ability.
