Sponsored by e-commerce major, the plaque offering ceremony for the first batch of students sent to alibaba under the Alibaba College Students’ Internship Plan was held in the department of Information Technology and Business Administration.    The ceremony was held in room A5-209 on the afternoon of May 13. The present distinguished guests were Vice-President, Professor Cao Yunfeng; Vice Secretary of School CPC Committee, Mr. Ren Hao; Director of Branding and Strategic Development, Mr. Wu Jianning; Dean of Department of Information Technology and Business Administration. Mr. Sun Fuquan; Secretary of School CPC Committee, Mr. Mi Zhiping; Deputy Dean of Department of Information Technology and Business Administration, Mr. Sun Xiujie and Chen Tingbin; E-Commerce Section Head, Ms. Deng Shan, Mr. Zhang Yimin and Office Director of Department of Information Technology and Business Administration, Mr. Li Wei. In order to cultivate more practice-oriented e-commerce talents, and help the students get practical experience and employment opportunity by sending students to small and middle-sized enterprises, department of Information Technology and Business Administration and the prestigious company Alibaba in the e-commerce circle carried out the cooperation project “Chinese College Students Internship and Practice Plan” after one-year communication and negotiation. The pilot project was launched officially on May 14 and Company Alibaba provided 50 small and middle-sized enterprises for the one-month internship of the students in our school.    More than 100 students including undergraduates, three-year students and students who has upgraded from three-year college to undergraduate of grade 05 and 06 applied for the project and after three-round training and elimination, 50 students were sent out to have the internship. The plague offering ceremony was held especially in the interest of strengthening the responsibility of the students who were sent out for internship and stimulating the students who were still studying in the school to work harder,     The ceremony was started by playing the short clips named Alibaba: Pilot of the E-Commerce Field in which it disclosed the problem and situation that small and middle-sized company were short of talents who majored in Net marketing and the students majoring in e-commerce lacked practical experience. The cooperation with Alibaba built an open, collaborating and win-win bridge between the company and students. Ms. Deng Shan made a detailed presentation and introduction to different projects for internship in order to make those 50 students know more about the internship in a macroscopic view. Then, the distinguished guests presented the plagues to those 50 students who were sent out for the internship. The 50 students smiled in confidence with the courage and congratulation from the teachers and students present. Through the plague offering ceremony, the 50 students who were sent out for the internship were clear about the responsibility and sense of honor all the more because they are representing the school and also they set good examples and became the motivation and goal for the students at school.
