Unforgettable Friendship Trip
Release time:2015-12-15
After the visit to Far Eastern State Technical Fisheries University, Russia in 2007, from July 26 to August 2, 2008, Neusoft teachers were invited again to visit the university. This time, led by Ren Hao, Vice Party Secretary of Neusoft, a delegation of ten teachers from different departments spent eight days in Vladivostok, Russia.
The Well-organized and Highly Efficient Delegation
Led by Ren Hao, head of the delegation, the Neusoft teachers’ delegation formed a clear organizational structure before the trip:
Leaders: Ren Hao (head of the delegation), Ma Jun (deputy head of the delegation), Zhang Yongqiang (deputy head of the delegation)
Service and Security: Zhang Yongqiang (group leader), Du Linbin (member), Tian Yong (member)
Performance: Qin Yan (group leader), Song Yin (member), Feng Shixuan (member)
Publicity: Li Yingqiu (group leader), Guo Hongqiu (member) , Bai Lu (member)
Each of the eleven members took their responsibility well. From the preparation to the follow-up, every piece of work was done in order, which made the delegation a highly effective one.
A Burst of Passion and a Display of Young Heart
The eight days were spent in joy and laughter. Mr. Ren’s sense of humor, Teacher Ma’s quick responses, Ms. Song’s jokes and Teacher Feng’s Russian teaching accompanied everyone. Natural disposition took the place of usual professional manners. Every smiling face revealed relaxation and lightheartedness. All those characteristics were also revealed in the water ballet, the intimate friendship with Russian children, the bonfire dance and the model performing.
The Island was shocked by the Chinese Kong Fu as well as our versatility known as the Chinese Saying: Crouching Tiger and Hidden Dragon
During the 8-day stay in Russia, we spent 3 days on an island named Ruthven which is not far from Vladivostok. During these three days on the island, the enthusiastic students and teachers from Far Eastern State Technical Fisheries University have given us shows with wonderful songs and dances. The Neusoft delegation can not be inferior to them. Therefore, in order to prepare a high-quality show on behalf of our institute in such a limited time and condition, the delegation held an emergency meeting. After a short period of brainstorming, the delegation decided to give a show with strong Chinese characteristics—Chinese Kung Fu. The preparation of the show was preceded in both a tense and an interesting atmosphere: Ms. Song Ying diligently practiced the routines of Tai Chi fan; Ms. Qin Yan began to exercise the fencing performance which she had learned 20 years ago; Ms. Ma Jun could be called a self-taught master, because she performed Tai Chi in her own way on the Slaven Island in the Pacific Ocean, who had been respected as "Master Ma"; we are also challenged by the props needed in the performances, so Mr. Zhang Yongqiang had to make a small blunt knife out of a wood board with green paint on into a ancient bronze sword; Ms. Guo Hongqiu was active in preparing the performance apparel. The successful completion of the performances reflects the versatility of the members of the delegation, which is known as crouching tiger and hidden dragon. Finally, the wonderful performances ended in passionate music, which received both the enthusiastic support of the audience and the thunderous applause. Ms. Ma also won two loyal fans of the same enthusiasm upon stepping down the stage. In a word, the limited time and conditions as well as the sensational performances fully embodied the quality of innovation and dedication of all the teachers from Neusoft.
A good impression was left as well and so did the sense of national responsibilities.
During the course of such an international exchange, every member of the delegation had a profound understanding of their responsibilities: when in a foreign country, each member stood for the Chinese nation and represents the Neusoft Institute. Therefore, everyone, as a Chinese as well as a teacher of Neusoft, must leave a nice impression upon others in a foreign land. Neusoft teachers’ good manners, warmth and consideration, timely appreciation, and heartfelt praise all displayed their personal charm. In the talk with the leaders from Far Eastern State Technical Fisheries University, Mr. Ren Hao had expressed our sincere thanks to their reception. He also pointed out that this time’s exchange showed the friendship between Russia and China, the friendship between Dalian and Vladivostok, as well as the friendship between Neusoft Institute of Information and Far Eastern State Technical Fisheries University; after the earthquake struck Wenchuan in Sichuan Province, China, Russia had offered an active support to the disaster areas. The children from the disaster areas of Sichuan province arrived in Russia for a rehabilitation visit, which had also proved the friendship between the peoples of the two countries; the Sino-Russian friendship should be further developed in the future, and the same as the cooperation between Neusoft Institute of Information and Far Eastern State Technical Fisheries University. With the progress of time, both sides should further expand the cooperation more comprehensively and profoundly to reach a win-win situation. The speech made by the head of our delegation, was a successful one, which made everyone of us confident and proud because we all stood for China.
A Sense of National Pride was Felt in the Foreign Land.
We could rarely see some modern architecture in the streets of Vladivostok because it is a relaxing place with slow paced life. The scene there was like a mirror that made us feel the vigorous development and be aware of the beauty and charm of our city—Dalian. When in Vladivostok, we saw a place that was quite similar to that of in Dalian, which made us feel at home somewhere around Dalian not abroad. This is what everyone had not expected beforehand. In a foreign land, we saw so many residential buildings and so many products that the Chinese people had built and made, which showed the diligence and efficiency of the Chinese people. Our sense of pride was immediately felt upon what we saw and what we heard this time. China is developing, and so are Dalian and the Neusoft Institute of Information. As a member of Neusoft, we should devote our enthusiasm to the day-to-day work and life to construct our institute and our motherland. China will become better in the days to come, so that we can be more proud with heads held high no matter in any corner of the world.
