In mid June, 2008, President Wen Tao led the delegation of Dalian Neusoft Institute of Information visited Eastern Siberia University of Science and Technology, Moscow Educational Institute of  Information Technology, Moscow Optical University of Information Technology, Moscow University of Electronic Technology, St. Petersburg University of Information Technology, and St. Petersburg University of Electronic Technology. During the visit, Neusoft Institute signed a joint training and wide cooperation agreement with Eastern Siberia University of Science and Technology and Moscow Educational Institute of Information Technology. The first group of Russian students will come to our institute to study in September. Though this high-end visit and meeting, our delegation had a basic view of the achievement of Russia in information technology education, scientific research and application. In the meantime, Russian universities of information technology also had an initial awareness of the school-running philosophy, teachers’ qualities, learning environment, as well as the software and hardware facilities of ours.
