On September 11, at 3:30 pm, Koji Oikawa, also well knowened for the“Super charming Japanese Teacher- Onizuka” , a Japanese foreign teacher from Japanese Department of Tsinghua University gave a lecture about the “secrets of rapid increase in learning Japanese” in the room of A5-306 for the Japanese Department, as well as Japanese fans from other departments.      From 2002 till now, Mr. Koji Oikawa teaches Japanese in Peking University, Tsinghua University. In Japanese language education, especially in conversation and guidance to speech he won a good reputation. His students won a lot prizes in the National Japanese Speech Contest, and the percentage of juniors’ passing the Japanese Language Proficiency Test Level One was 100%, and some students obtain the highest score of 397 points.     In the two hours of speech, Koji Oikawa used the humorous language and the colorful examples to talk about the main points of verbal learning and skills, based on its invention of "Oikawa small scores". His speech resonated in the hearts and minds of the audiences. He advocated the importance of reading, in particular, Morning Reading. He demonstrated his unique and vivid methodology, showing the charm of reading to students, which stimulated the students’ interest in learning.     Students benefited a lot in this relaxed atmosphere by Mr. Oikawa’s brief summarization of learning skills, humorous body language and expressions. After his speech, Mr. Oikawa was still surrounded by many students, asking the problems of language learning.     In recent years, the Japanese education of our institute developed very fast. This invitation of Mr. Koji Oikawa, the famous expert of Japanese education helped students to open their horizons, promote the interest of Japanese learning and increase their self-confidence of learning. It was also beneficial for our institute in improving the teaching level and officially opened the Morning Reading of Japanese Department.
