On the afternoon of May 27th, Doctor Ruben Xing visited Dalian NII and gave a lecture named The Redefinition of Nowadays Information Technology and Its Impact on Economy and Human Social Life in 21st Century, receiving warm welcome and recognition from teachers and students present. Students and teachers benefited a lot from this lecture. Doctor Ruben Xing was a tenured professor of our partner school，Montclair State University Business School and he was also a special guest speaker in Wall Street Forum.

The contents of Doctor Ruben Xing’ speech was regarding the rapid development of IT as one of the most important themes that human beings faced when entering the 21st century, and it focused on the essential transform brought by fast developing information technology to economy, education, culture and daily lives, etc. How to appropriately define and deal with information technology would make serious effect on not only an enterprise, a region, a country,  but even affect the development of the whole world.   (Wang Huan, International Education Department)
