In the 12th Teaching Courseware Contest of Liaoning Province concluded in September 2011, one second prize and two third prizes were won among the vocational works, and one third prize was won among the works of undergraduate level. A total of 11 works won Excellent Works prize. Meanwhile, Dalian Neusoft Vocational Institute of Information Technology was awarded Outstanding Organizer of the 12th Teaching Courseware Contest of Liaoning Province. On Oct.24, 2011, the 11th National Multi-media Courseware Contest hosted by Teaching Management Information Center of the Ministry of Education concluded in Beijing. Webpage Design and Courseware Making Website developed by the Department of Information Technology and Business Administration won the national third prize among engineering group of higher education, Applied Japanese Writing (Web Edition) developed by Japanese Department won national third prize in vocational group and another four works won Competition Award of Excellence. The prize winning of our institute works reflected that our teachers had improvement in courseware making under the instruction of the concept of TOPCARES-CDIO education and teaching reform. Every work was the reflection of competing teacher’s effective combination of information technology application and teaching contents and was a positive boost to the construction of teaching materials and our teaching modernization.   （President’s Office）
