President Wen Tao’s Return Visit to Japan for Further Cooperation

A Dalian NII’s delegation led by President Wen Tao visited partner institutions and companies in Japan from November 20th to 24th, 2011.
On the same day of arrival in Tokyo, November 20th, President Wen Tao made a return visit to I.T. innovations, Inc. first. Since the April of 2011 when an agreement of friendship and cooperation was signed between the two sides, the co-operation between I.T. innovations, Inc and Dalian NII has started. A three-month overseas training program has been conducted for the Japanese employees of the company. At present, more cooperation projects have been set for Nomura Research Institute, Ltd., Sumitomo Chemical Company, Limited, and Toyota Communication Systems Co., Ltd. etc.
Trainees’ Graduation
On November 21st, President Wen Tao and his delegation visited Obirin University, and were warmly welcomed by senior leaders of Obirin University, including President Sato Toyoshi, Vice-president as well as some others. After visiting the facilities on campus, the teaching environment, and so on, President Wen Tao signed an agreement of friendship with President Sato Toyoshi. According to the agreement, overseas students will be exchanged between the two universities. Students from Dalian NII can further their studies there in Japan. The extensive cooperation and exchanges can be achieved in the areas of teachers and academic exchanges.

On November 22nd, accompanied by someone from the I.T. innovations, Inc. in Japan, President Wen Tao visited the talent training center of Nomura Research Institute, Ltd. located in Yokohama. The Nomura Research Institute, Ltd. is one of the major professional companies dealing with business consulting and IT development, which upholds the concept of “advanced, quality and trust”. Now, it has staff of more than 7,000 employees, which enjoys a high reputation in the industry. During the visit, President Wen Tao and his delegation were warmly welcomed by the staff from the Department of Personnel Development of Nomura Research Institute, Ltd.. After visiting the facilities in the center, President Wen Tao observed the company"s ongoing internal talent training.
The employees of Nomura Research Institute, Ltd. have started their training since they entered into the company. The employees will have a systematic training periodically and hierarchically, and some of them will have more advanced professional training after being selected. The company has regarded Dalian NII as a reliable partner in training methods, content, and life support through a three-month intensive training program in 2011. From 2012 onwards, Nomura Research Institute, Ltd. will be our long-term partner. Their employees will be sent for overseas training in batches.
On November 24th, President Wen Tao visited Kobe International University. It is the first time for Dalian NII’s delegation to visit the university since the formal signing between the two sides in October 2010. Led by the relevant staff of Kobe International University, President Wen Tao was shown around to the school’s library, classrooms, cafeteria and other facilities for a visit. He also exchanged ideas with overseas students from Dalian NII. Leading all the leaders of the Kobe International University, President Endo Masami met President Wen Tao. He expressed that Dalian and Kobe were very similar in all respects. Therefore, exchanges and cooperation between the two schools will be strengthened in the future, and a breakthrough in exchanging overseas students will be strived to achieve.
