The final of the 12th Challenge Cup National College Students Extra-curricular Academic, Scientific & Technological Works Competition was held in Dalian University of Technology from Oct. 16 to 19. 1252 works from 305 universities including Tsinghua University, Peking University and Dalian Neusoft Institute of Information and 55 works from 12 universities in Hong Kong and Macao entered the final competition. Supervised by teacher Yu Dan from Department of Information Technology and Business Administration in Dalian NII, the FLYOU team, with Liu Longyezi, a junior student of marketing major as a representative, went through the severe competition. Its paper—A Probe and Analysis of the Career Preparation Status of the College Students, entered the national final competition as the special award in Liaoning province and won the third place in the social enquiry reports and academic essays of philosophy and social sciences.  

  Liu Longyezi said: “The purpose of our research is to learn the career selecting status of modern college students and the influencing factors through the enquiry. Based on this research, we hope to offer suggestions to the point for students, colleges as well as employers.”    (Administrivia News)
