A delegation of six including Zou Xiaoping, Vice President of Dongguan University of Technology and Chen Xiangping, Deputy Director of Academic Affairs Department visited NII(Dalian) on Nov. 16 to exchange ideas on the reforms of education and teaching, particularly on the implementation of CDIO. President Wen Tao and Vice President Guo Quan received Vice President Zou Xiaoping and his party in Room 217 of the Administrative Building. President Wen gave a general introduction of NII (Dalian), its development and characteristics school running and Vice President Guo introduced the TOPCARES—CDIO cultivation mode, curriculum system, teaching mode reform, development of internal assessment system and teaching quality control in detail and made a further discussion with the guests as well. After the meeting, the guests visited the library, laboratories and dormitory zone of the students. Wang Weikun, Director of President’s Office and Wang Shiyong, Deputy Director of the Office of Teaching Quality Management and Assurance accompanied the reception.    (President’s Office)
