On the afternoon of June 13, the 2014 Graduation Ceremony of Dalian Neusoft University of Information was held in the Lecture Hall Room 309 of A2 Building. President Wen Tao, Party Secretary Che Ruwen, Vice-president Guo Quan, Vice-president Xie Hua, and Deputy Party Secretary Ren Hao attended the ceremony. Teachers and students from different departments, the students’ parents’ representatives as well as the 2014 graduate representatives witnessed the exciting and memorable moments. In the solemn national anthem, the 2014 graduation ceremony began formally. Vice President Guo Quan announced the "name list of 2014 graduates and the degree-granting decisions of Dalian Neusoft University of Information". According to the relevant provisions of DNUI, the 3465 graduates of the class of 2014 have been assessed comprehensively, including morally, mentally, physically, and artistically. Finally, 3391 graduates are qualified to receive a certificate, and 2416 graduates are going to receive a bachelor's degree. All the qualified graduates were awarded a diploma and a degree by our school leaders.

At the ceremony, Party Secretary Che Ruwen announced the “Name List of Outstanding Graduates of 2014 in Dalian City and Liaoning Province” as well as the “Recognition Decision of DNUI’s Outstanding Graduate of 2014”. 65 students were awarded the title “Provincial Outstanding Graduates of 2014”, 73 students were awarded “Municipal Outstanding Graduates of 2014”, and 71 students were awarded “DNUI’s Outstanding Graduates of 2014”.

He said: "Thanks to the school, so we have four years of good times, where we were able to acquire knowledge, learn how to behave; thanks to all the teachers, who have given warmth when we were away from home; thank all the students who companied me all the way forward. ".

Parent representative was giving a speech. Parent representative Pang Xiaoyu’s father, whose son majors in Computer Science and Technology of Software Engineering gave a speech on behalf of all the parents. He said: "As one of the parents, we feel proud that our children have the opportunity studying in DNUI. I hope all the students should never forget to pay back their teachers, their alma mater, and the society. Every graduate should keep struggling for achieving their goal.”

She said: “Looking back on the past four years, I feel deeply gratified. I hope everyone can still maintain high morale, exuberant enthusiasm, regardless of wind and waves. On the occasion of bidding farewell to alma mater for 2014 graduates, the school song of Dalian Neusoft University of Information was produced. The graduation ceremony came to an end in the MV of the song "Dreams on the Road". The lyrics were composed by President Wen Tao, and the music was co-composed by teachers and students of DNUI independently. It sang out the happy moments and youthful dreams, which won warm applause from the all the audience present. As said in the song: "Hello, distance! Hello, dreams", with all the blessings and encouragement from teachers and fellow students, the graduates of 2014 confidently move forward for pursuit of their dreams to make contributions to social development.
