From June 15th to 23rd , our President Wen Tao, Vice President Guo Quan, and Yang Lu,  the Leader of International Education School, went to Barcelona，Spain, and attended the 2014 CDIO Global Annual Conference.

At the conference, Vice President Guo Quan represented DNUI and delivered the report entitled The Exploration and Practice of Integrating the Innovative career creation Education into Engineering Education. In addition, our visiting mission made extensive communication on the experience of promoting and developing CDIO with other CDIO member universities. Furthermore, our mission had a deep discussion on two sides’ cooperation with the president of Sheridan College from Canada, clarifying the direction of future cooperation in degree education between two universities.

After the conference, President Wen Tao and his team were invited to visit the City University of Manchester. During the visit, our mission visited the campus, got to know the basic information about its Computer and Digital Technology School, Arts School and other related schools, and they also had a deep communication with the leaders of each school. The two sides made a sound discussion on degree education, overseas internship projects, academic cooperation, etc., setting up the cooperative intention on the above projects.
