Students of DNUI won the prize in 2013 National College GIS skills competition

2013 National College GIS skills competition concluded in November, under the guidance and instruction of Zhou Hui and Chen Minghua, teachers from Department of Computer Science and Technology, students of Software Engineering major of DNUI stood out from excellent teams. The competing team, which consists of four students of 2011, Yan XunGang, Wang Yong, Wang Rui, Zhang Wenxiao, had won the second prize in the development of advanced group A; The participating team of Guoshuai, Guo PengFei, Qin Yanyan won the second prize in the development of primary group A; Teacher Zhou Hui won the guidance teacher award. National College of GIS (Geographic Information System GIS) skills competition is a nationwide student GIS skills competition sponsored by Talent Exchange Center, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Engineer Research Center for GIS Software & Application, Ministry of Education, with support from Chinese Society for Surveying and Geographic information, Ministry of Education and CSICC. More than 200 colleges and universities nationwide participated in the competition, and the cumulative number of participants reached more than 3,000.
