Among the visited universities, there were both the university just signed a contract with and the ones cooperated with for years. The delegation had a further discussion with Benedictine University, which was based on the 2+2 mode but made a breakthrough to offer more joint major choices for those students who would take this program. In addition, agreements for cooperation in undergraduate to postgraduate programs in 3+1+1 mode were also reached with George Fox University and Montana State University. These programs will offer new chances for the students to study abroad and for postgraduate preparatory education in DNUI.
Led by President Wen Tao, DNUI held hands with San Jose State University (U.S.) and University of Aizu (Japan) in order to promote the students’ international level. This will offer more international industry-university cooperation programs and open different ways for the students to enter higher schools or gain job opportunities.
The visit to America laid a firm foundation for DNUI to cooperate further with the universities and colleges in the United States. It also created new opportunities for the students to study in America.
