Release time:2015-12-15
On the morning of August 29, along with the melodious school anthem "Hello, afar. Hello, dream. Here, we look forward to the future ...," the first bus drove slowly onto the campus, and NII greeted its Grade 2015 freshmen. They came to the Neusoft castle with their keen hopes and youthful dreams, to start a dream trip right here.       In order to welcome the freshmen, Neusoft campus was decorated anew. The background board themed "Be a DNUIer" was placed in front of the castle-like library steps, to inspire students to value their time at university and to achieve their ideal. Meanwhile, the school arranged shuttle buses for the freshmen in Dalian Railway Station and Dalian North Station. Nearly a thousand volunteers helped during the whole process of Freshmen Enrollment Services       Each department’s orientation booth had its unique features. In front of the library in A5, cards written with brush pens that read “luggage” were placed at the right side of the service desks of Computer Science and Technology Department. The calligraphy slogan was also warm and hearty: "We will offer sincere and attentive services to ensure that all the freshmen feel at home in Department of Computer Science and Technology with our passion and sweat."       "Fulfill your dream in software engineering today and gallop in the field of IT tomorrow". Software Engineering Department displayed the teachers’ wishes on boards themed "We hold up the future with our heart." so that the freshmen can learn about the features and teachers of the department. The introduction of the prize winners also encouraged the new students to set up goals and work harder.       In front of Building A7, six colored floating balls fluttered in the wind. “Neusoft strategy” panel was placed at the reception desk of Information Management Department and Business Management Department to provide guidelines for the new students.       Electronic Engineering Department’s reception desk offered a list of outstanding graduates’ whereabouts and the real data ensured confidence to the freshmen and their parents.       The banner in Digital Arts Department was quite inventive: "Digit in the lintel, words on the paper, art in the school, and idea in the heart." The lovely Donki also came to help welcoming the new students to the Department of Digital Arts.       A sign of “Parents, please stop, and let the students help themselves,” was placed at the door of Building A6, which was the reception of English Department, Japanese Department and Russian Department. This sign aimed to encourage the new students to try to be independent on the first day. Within the building hung lots of little flags of different countries, which were full of international atmosphere. The message boards were filled with ardent hope written by parents: "We hope Xue’er can fulfill her dreams here." "I wish my granddaughter healthy and happy each day."
