The School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship was founded in 2015, consisting of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Center and Quality Education Center for College Students. The school is responsible for the construction and teaching of universal courses in innovation and entrepreneurship, organizing innovative and entrepreneurial activities in the university and integrating innovation and entrepreneurship education into personnel training programs.
SOVO (Student Office & Venture Office) was founded in 2002. It is one of National Maker Spaces approved and recorded by Torch High Technology Industry Development Center, Ministry of Science & Technology. A brand new incubation mode, from Ideas to Start-up, is adopted in completeing this process. SOVO has been co-located with the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, then they have formed a pyramid system of innovation and entrepreneurship education and service, ranging from the underlying structure of innovative and entrepreneurial curriculum, the practical platform of project library and the top platform for business incubation.
